Trench Series Synopsis: It is a dystopian future where states are now contained in cities. Liam is a 17-year-old boy whose drunkard uncle dies, which somehow sends him on a journey to the city of Trench. On his way there, he discovers many peculiar things about his past. Jakob, who Liam does not know, is a low-level cop in Trench, and when his brother unexpectedly commits suicide, he finds himself being hunted by the Trench government and by the revolutionaries who are trying to overthrow that government. He is at odds with both of these groups.
